DALANEL saw its greatest day and month in July. And August started out poised to make a run for July’s money. But, a couple of weeks ago, DALANEL stopped growing. 

It’s bleeding and I can’t stop it.

A few days while in my current dry spell, I made drastic changes to the blog. The theme was changed, new features like Weekly News and Weekly Funnies appeared, and it seemed like things would pick up.

Nope.

Oddly enough, I still continue the streak of getting at least one new follower per week. The following still grows but viewing is so bad. So very, very bad. Now, I’ve said before that I would still be blogging even if nobody was reading so that’s not the concern. The concern is what can I do to bring people back?

The things I do here are not changing. I love what I do; I guess it’s not popular with everyone else. Most likely, I’m just going to ride it out. Setbacks happen. I can only hope that this is a minor one and that things will pick up soon. I don’t expect anything to beat July for quite some time. 

There’s one more thing I can do. Get more bloggers.

I need more voices on here. I need to gather 2-3 people who can contribute certain things to the blog. I get it; I’m boring. And the features I got going on can get old. But, I don’t have much more that I’m capable of to spice things up. So, let’s bring in a couple of new voices to help make this thing grow.

I have a few people in mind that I can approach in my personal circle but I’m pretty sure that I’m one of the very few people that is a blogger in my circles so I’d have to first convince people that blogging is cool before they get involved. If that doesn’t work, then this blog is doomed to be crappy for a long time.

So, it’s recruiting time!
