As a college student, I’ve learned how to cut costs. Thank GOD, for pop-tarts and generic brand versions of it. There’s something to simple and special about it. I actually eat it straight from the wrapper. Only once have I toasted it and so the hot filling was never a problem for me.
And there’s so many flavors. It’s like…so many. You got your standard Strawberry, blueberry, cherry, brown sugar. Then you got some of the “newer” flavors like hot fudge sundae, cookies and cream, and chocolate fudge. There’s other flavors I know I’m missing. I started to really get addicted to them when I worked for UPS.
Yeah, some background info: I used to work UPS shift from 12 am to 7 am. And right after that, I had an 8 am class and an 11 am class. That was for just four days a week but still…stressful. Anyway, in between my drive home from work and then to class, I would snack on a simple and cheap snack: Pop-tart and a bottle of Gatorade. It was a nice little snack to keep my energy up because I’d be worn out after work.
Ah, pop-tarts. I love you.
