Welcome to the first post of the long overdue weekly segment: Wednesday Word. In case you don’t know, Wednesday Word will normally go a little something like this: A short sermon, typically less than 10 minutes, could be longer but rarely over 30 minutes, and then some Dante commentary. As I’ve said before, I’m no pastor or something. You don’t have to be to know the Word of God. Here’s today’s video:

Wow. You know, he’s right. When we have passion or a desire to do things for God, our power is limitless really. And passion can come from the Holy Spirit as you immerse yourself in His power.

I like the two side example a little. Overall, it was a good message that many need to hear. Passion is not a word you typically hear often. I’m going to try to take this message and go into talking about how we can get this passion.

Like I said, passion can some from the Holy Spirit. He’s a fire that lights you to do Godly things. We need to get in tune with what God’s standards are so we know what to be passionate about. So, read His word, go to church, and pray, among other things.

If we become passionate for God, we can really change the world. See, sometimes, when we’re passionate about something, we tend to use resources, whether it’s money, time, energy, or whatever, on this passion. For me, a big thing I have passion for is this blog. I spend hours on this thing making tweaks here and writing something there to make this the best blog it can be. With God, He gives you resources. What’s interesting is that God has unlimited resources so now we’re in a situation where the things we can do for God, fueled by passion, is virtually limitless. And, like I said, we can really change the world.
