POLL: Which possible update are you looking forward to most?

Quick poll asking which possible update are you looking forward to the most.

First, I have the idea of having a staff of bloggers here. I hope that they can post a few posts per month. Next, I want to create apps for the site for the mobile phones and Windows 8 is looking promising too. Lastly, as a Windows Phone 8 user, Path.com app hasn’t been made yet. But, it’s close. I found this out after posting my goals but this is something I’ve been waiting for for quite some time. WordPress has the option to connect the blog there so I want to be there.

So, again, of those three things that could happen, which one are you looking forward to the most?

Recruitment for New Writers Going…Okay

images bloggers uniteI got some news about adding a team of bloggers/writers to DALANEL: I’m getting closer to adding a couple of folks. One is already registered on site and we’re in the process of setting the account up as well as getting a first post ready. I’ve talked to another “friend” of mine (you already know I don’t have friends) to help out as well.

There’s a good chance that each of these people will blog about whatever they want, with the guideline only being something positive. Also, don’t expect them to blog very often; I’m hoping a few posts per month. On the flip side, they could make appearances in my featured posts like Daily Good News, Dante’s Opinion, and Wednesday Word. Heck, they could form their own feature if they’d like.

All in all, when it’s all said and done, there should be 2-3 new bloggers set up by January. That’s good news because this will help the site grow as well as giving more voices for you.

It’s risky going out like this because it could backfire on the sense that it doesn’t work out. Still, I’ve been recruiting hard in recent weeks in my very small circle of fellow bloggers/writers.

The idea of new things excites me more than Cookie Monster given the keys to a bakery! Stay tuned.

Daily Good News 35: Jesus Is Born

You can’t possibly be surprised I went this road, are you? This is one of the best things to happen to the world. Not all of you agree with me, and perhaps are seriously considering hitting the backspace button. That’s fine, but, if you don’t know the story of Christmas, at least read this story.

Ah yes, Jesus being born is good news for all of us. It was the start of a plan to save us all from hell. Sounds good to me. Again, hit the link if you haven’t. I’ll leave you with this:

Dante’s Opinion: Which is better Avatar the last airbender or Legend of Korra and why?

First question of the day is from Mehrundin:

Which is better Avatar the last airbender or Legend of Korra and why? I am asking this question just for fun and i wanna see do u guys have the same opinion as i 🙂 Tell me which of the series are better?

I gotta go with Avatar. Korra has been good but, Avatar seems to be better. Even when they first announced Korra I didn’t think it would top Avatar. Honestly, part of me resents the Korra story and wished WE KNEW ABOUT ZUKO’S MOM INSTEAD. Sorry. I mean, they have a comic book about it but yeesh. Anyway, the characters and story seemed better in Avatar. But, again, I like what Korra’s doing too. This recent season has been pretty good and answered a few questions from Aang days and beyond.
