Wednesday Word: Good Deeds in Disobedience

Wednesday Word makes a cameo appearance. In case you don’t know what this series was about, it was me presenting a short sermon video and then giving some thoughts on it. Uh…yeah, that’s about it.

I enjoyed this series because it kept me engaged with the word in some form. I would hear some words, let me tell ya. It helped me grow from a spiritual aspect. Would I bring this back one day? Probably not. But, this was one of my favorite posts.

Anyway, here’s the video:

This happens a lot. We think because we’re doing good, it equals doing the right thing. That’s not quite true. We must do what God says. There’s a reason why He says to do something at a certain time. You can’t substitute or exchange God’s demands. There is such a thing as doing good deeds in a state of disobedience.

Wednesday Word is where I post a short sermon (10 minutes or less). Enjoy.

Changes to Wednesday Word and Thursday Thoughts

These are minor tweaks.

For Wednesday Word, I am officially making video length no more than 10 minutes. The original rule was no more than 20 minutes. Also, I am no longer adding my commentary. So, video and done,

For Thursday Thoughts, I’ll be adding an image of a quote, along with the typical three quotes.

What I’m aiming to do with DALANEL is to make this a quick stop destination. Each post here is short and sweet. Videos are no longer than 10 minutes. Just a few quotes to chew on; nothing overwhelming.

I try to get this stuff up in the morning so you can start your day off on a positive note. I really want to settle in these daily posts so I don’t anticipate too many changes besides these little tweaks.
