Dante’s Opinion: Is someone stalking me?

First question is from Cjl:

2 days ago I was going to a friends house and my sister had my car so I had to walk there. It’s about a 45 minute walk from my place and when I was walking for about 15 minutes I turned around and noticed a man walking behind me. It seemed like he just came out of no where. I didn’t think nothing of it but I didn’t recognize him at all and I live in a small town so it’s unusual for me to see someone I don’t know or don’t recognize. When I was almost at my friends house I turned around and he was still walking behind me, again I didn’t think nothing of it. I got to my friends place and he just walked on past. When I went home later that day I was outside smoking and I looked up my driveway and there was the same man I seen earlier walked right by my house but he stared right at me, which kind of creeped me out.

Earlier today I was at home and my aunt who lives next door called and said she seen a man standing in the path between our houses. No one ever walks through that path except us. She told my parents that when she was going out to her truck she seen a man standing in the path and he had a car parked that was blocking off her driveway. She asked him what he was doing and he said he was going to my house and she told him to move his car and that we lived next door. She described him to my parents and they told me what he looked like and it seemed like they were describing the same guy I seen the other few times. What’s strange is that she said he was just standing there watching the house and he said he was coming here but he still hasn’t showed up. My parents think it’s someone watching because he’s going to try to break into our house. Still dosent explain why I seen him the first time. Is this person going to break into my house? Or is he stalking me? Am I just being paranoid?Should I call the police? Sorry that this so long.

It was kinda long but intriguing. I think I would be freaking out myself. I don’t know if the police would help. But, you are totally being stalked. Lock up and be safe. Tell the cops that you think you’re being followed but, like I said, I’m not sure they would be of much help.

Daily Good News 28: Man Gives $20k, Employees Return Lost Wallet, and Athlete Overcomes Odds

Head blogger of DALANEL found to be insane

Authorities in Willingboro, N.J. found head blogger of the wildly mediocre blog, DALANEL, in a fetal position crying about the Philadelphia 76ers’ latest loss.

When his mother settled him down, Dante, as he was named shortly after birth, was mumbling about how his girlfriend left him. When authorities realized that Dante’s girlfriend was, in fact, a stuffed animal, they locked his room down.

“Yeah, I thought it would be some really ugly babe”, said Captain Maxwell Warner, who had interviewed the delirious Dante. “He’s certainly not capable of getting even a decent looking gal, in my professional pinion. God, knows when he showed me the wallet sized picture of a stuffed animal in a dress, I done nearly lost my freaking mind! Knowing guys his age, he probably wants to take over the world, or something, so we locked him down.”

Reporters questioned Dante’s father for answers.

“Heck if I know what he does in his bedroom. He’s a 22 year old virgin. I’m surprised the animal is still soft.”

Psychologists searched Dante’s room for answers to his apparent mental breakdown.

When Does Good News Become Stale?

The reason why I started this blog was because I got numb from all of the negative stuff I read and saw. I knew I had a problem when I shrugged at hearing about some shooting. It’s like “oh, this week’s shooting took place in…”. There’s no sting for me. And it was wearing me down, man.

Insert Daily Good News

It’s been really fun finding and posting various stories that I’ve shown you so far. Keep in mind that I was doing that with the Daily Good Stuff and even back when it was Good Friday posts. So, I’ve been doing this for a while now. However, this is the first time I’ve really focused on it. As in most things, when you first start, the new discoveries can be fascinating. But then, after a while, it can get old.

Part of it is human nature, I guess. We need constant stimulation. Something fresh.

Already, there were a couple of times whole researching for stories where I kinda zoned out. Like it was a chore. Yeah, we all have our days. Right now, I’m not close to being bored with it all. But, I know it can happen. It’s possible that hearing about a hero can cause me to shrug.

But, is that a bad thing?
