All the knowledge I possess everyone else can acquire, but my heart is all my own. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. 1 John 4:13

Wednesday Word: Worship in War

Welp, it’s been a while since I pushed a Wednesday Word. But, here we are. In case you don’t know, Wednesday Word is where I find a short video (less than 10 minutes although no more than 20 minutes) and post it here and then add some commentary.

Great.

Let me just say, that in a spiritual war, there’s a time where you need to train. You need to get familiar with your weapons like worship and prayer and fasting and other stuff like that.

For example, when you see a kid with a hammer, you’re not as scared of him doing serious damage compared to a serial killer. See, the weapon is the weapon. But, it’s how you use it that makes it useful. And, the more we practice it and learn its strengths and weaknesses, the better we have of not only being able to use it, but knowing when to use it or using a different weapon.

Thanks for stopping by.

Let the world know you as you are, not as you think you should be, because sooner or later, if you are posing, you will forget the pose, and then where are you? Fanny Brice

Even a fool is thought wise if he keeps silent, and discerning if he holds his tongue. Proverbs 17:28

Monday Motivation: Keep your head up

Don’t quit. Keep pushing. Keep moving through the hell.

It’s been a long week. A long month. A long year. A freaking long life. But aren’t you still here? Aren’t you still standing?

Right.

So, why stop now? Why feel down? You’ve come from far away and you don’t even know how close you are to the finish line.

Keep your head up because your situation will get better. I am running with this in the name of Jesus. I’m claiming it for me. You’d better claim it for you. It’s time to get stubborn. It’s dark out there, like the African night, but you’ll be fine.

Let’s go. Keep your head up until it gets stiff and you’re sore. And then keep it up some more.
