Page Updates

One thing I didn’t think about doing during the blog shutdown was re-adding a page that used to be here. Join DALANEL! is back up. This is your chance to join me on the site Just take a look at the page for all of the sexy details. I took it down because I gave up adding a few bloggers here. But, I’ll leave it up; I think as this blog gets bigger, somebody will eventually want some of this.

However, there’s a couple of changes to pages. Blog Network actually has entirely new content; content that was a post here on DALANEL. “A New DALANEL Goal: Be Part of A Blog Network” is the name of the post. I put all of that information in Blog Network.

Meanwhile, I took all of the content that used to be in Blog Network and just added it to the Writing Career page. It seemed to make a little more sense.

Lastly, I promised a video on my Accept Jesus page but I didn’t anticipate YouTube giving me so much grief. I can tell you that it is up so go ahead and check out the video.

I’ll still be making minor tweaks in the background in the upcoming days. Thanks for hanging in there and keep the feedback coming via comment and/or poll.

I love bowling. And, in quite a few DGS posts, I’ve posted some funny bowling gifs. Today, I look on the internet for gifs and I have my top ten. Some are fake/staged, some are awesome, some are fails. It doesn’t matter to me. The show itself was good enough.

Dante’s Opinion: Do men have “backups”?

It’s another round of questions that I offer my opinion on. This first one is from a DALANEL reader. Chocolate Vent asks:

I am a single woman who has several male friends. I do have a few “backup” choices – guys that have expressed genuine interest in marrying me – but I’m not attracted to them (no physical attraction, no romantic chemistry, etc.). As I go further into my thirties I am seriously starting to consider marrying one of these “backup choices”. And I know I am not the only one who feels this way – a lot of women have “backups” in the event we do decide to get married & have not yet met our dream mate. My question is this: Do men have “backups”? I would think not considering men have far more options than we do, but I am curious if a man would rather be alone or marry a female friend who will “make do” as his wife. What are your thoughts on this?

Top Animated Dogs

I love me some carton dogs. At least, some of them. And so, I present a list of my top dogs. These are TV and/or Movies. That’s it. If there’s a TV or movie version of a book, I’m ignoring the book. Are you ready? And I promise: No “Who let the dogs out”.

As you know, I love me some red. So, when I see a big red dog, I gotta sit down and watch him go. That’s kinda the only reason he made the list. Yeah.

One half of the somehow possible CatDog, Dog is…or seems to be, the stereotypical confirming dog in our society: Friendly, a bit of an airhead, loyal, and energetic. And that’s why we love him next to Cat.
