Yikes. Where in the heck is that place!? Up next, a video. Now that Halloween is over, it’s time to move on. But, what if your kid still wants to wear the costume? Welp:
Well…that wasn’t very helpful, was it?
One bright, beautiful Sunday morning, everyone in the tiny town of Johnstown got up early and went to the local church. Before the service started, the townspeople were sitting in their pews and talking about their lives, their families, etc.

Suddenly, the Devil himself appeared in front of the congregation. Everyone started screaming and running for the front entrance, trampling each other in a frantic effort to get away from evil  incarnate.

Soon everyone was evacuated from the church except for one elderly gentleman who sat calmly in his pew, not moving, seemingly oblivious to the fact that God’s ultimate enemy was in his presence.

Now this confused Satan a bit, so he walked up to the man and said, “Don’t you know who I am?”

The man replied, “Yep, sure do.”

Satan asked “Aren’t you afraid of me?”

“Nope, sure ain’t,” said the man.

Satan was a little perturbed at this and queried, “Why aren’t you afraid of me?”

The man calmly replied, “I been married to your sister for 48 years.”

Yup, just as I figured, there is some Halloween themed news. There was a drug bust. Four pounds of cocaine. Where was it? In a couple of pumpkins…in the airport…yeah.

Border agents found a spooky Halloween surprise Thursday in three pumpkins someone tried to smuggle through the Montreal airport, authorities said — about four pounds of suspected cocaine.

The pumpkins were hollowed out, filled with about 2 kilograms of white powder in bags and recapped, the Canada Border Services Agency said. They were being transported Thursday morning by a suspect authorities would identify only as a female traveler arriving at Montreal-Trudeau International Airport.

Take a look at the whole story if you want.

Boy, these are some of my favorite good news. A bus driver, while crossing a bridge, noticed a woman was ready to jump off and end it all. He pulls over, hops out, and talks the woman out of it. What’s better, the bus’ camera captured the whole thing. Awesome. Hit the link to see the video.

And that’s it for today. Thanks for stopping by.

Daily Good Stuff 213: Halloween

Halloween. Now, let’s just start this off by saying I don’t celebrate this holiday. After doing research on it, I have determined that this is something I can’t honestly back. However, I love candy. Also, I still think today can be fun. For instance, my church used to have a party on the 31st called “Harvest Fest” where you dressed up as Bible characters and played games. There was a contest…a costume contest, that was done every year. The last year we ever did the Harvest Fest, I won the costume contest. I was Moses and I had these big tablets for the ten commandments. The kicker was that I was one of three Moses’ there so I when I won, I really won. On Friday, I hope there’s plenty of weird news of trick-or-treat incidents. Wouldn’t that be swell?

Daily Good Stuff 210

And it’s Monday. October is coming to an end soon. You should know, November is going to have a theme. Also, November is going to be a time of change and transition. It’s all for the better and I’ll go into more details in a separate post.

For now, let’s get to the good stuff.

But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. 1 Peter 3:15
