Monday Motivation: Be patient

Simply put, we all could use a little more patience.

For me, as a child of God who has the Holy Spirit, I am expected to be patient. It is something that is a part of who I am.

It can still be hard to exercise it. We want results now, and all of this technology encourages this. What we need to do is learn to wait. Just sit down and wait.

I’m not saying stop living. Keep on living your life. But, when you’re in traffic, remain calm. There’s nothing you can do about the situation. So, instead, change your outlook. Be patient. Wait for it…wait for it…

When you’re waiting on God to answer your prayer…be patient. Hold on. Understand that His time is best.

It sure isn’t easy to wait for that little or big hand to reach the number we want, but we have to do it. It’s for our benefit.

Monday Motivation: Motivate others!

I’m sitting here staring at a blank screen. I was struggling on figuring out what to write about to motivate you. Then I started thinking about how I needed motivation to write, and now here we are.

I’m here to tell you that you need to use today to motivate somebody else.

Use my previous motivations to help spark an idea. Maybe take this opportunity to kinda nudge Harry from accounting that he should try a new look for his hair.

Motivate. Do it.

Go tell someone to be the best they can be. Encourage them to keep up the diet. Push them to finish the project they’ve been putting off.

Monday Motivation: Finally finish that project/goal

Are you waiting to get in shape? Trying to lose some weight? Are you putting off that book (writing or reading)? Whatever it is, do it, or make some progress on it.

It’s time to get it done.

Sometimes, the best rewards come from the hardest work. It’s time to feel good about ourselves. No matter how small, we want to end with “I did it!”. Stop waiting. Make the move. Me? I’m finally gonna get myself together with these blogs. I’ve been slacking off like a blogging bum and that needs to stop.

I have a play that I’ve been working on since 2010. Quite honestly, I need to get it done. It’s time to put that baby to bed and move on for another project.

So, again, I ask you: What is your unfinished project? What goal in your life have you put off?

th

Boom. So let’s go. Even if you map out your path to get it done; do something to go forward in that area.

Let’s go to work.

Monday Motivation: Express yourself

Too many times, we keep out feelings and thoughts to ourselves. We need an outlet.

It’s time we let our voices be heard.

It’s time to express ourselves.

Some people use song (singing, playing an instrument, whatever). Some write. Others might dance. Maybe there’s an outfit that really sends a message. However you choose to do it, do it.

The simplest of ways is to literally just say it. I talk to myself. It helps me to really sort out my feelings and thoughts. Maybe do that. Some of you might think it’s crazy, but my best work has started as a conversation with myself. To each his own.

Speaking from a USA standpoint, we are free to express ourselves. And we need to take advantage of this.

Welp, I gotta go. I can hear myself calling.

Monday Motivation: Give Something

Today, we’re going to attempt to give something. It can be a kind word. It could be money. A hug. Give something that you wouldn’t mind receiving.

That saying “What goes around, comes around” was always corny to me. But, if it helps you give a little more, then use it until you drop.

So go! Give something special. Not special. But, you better mean it.

Those are the rules.

Monday Motivation: Be Yourself Part 2

One of the most liked posts here on DALANEL is a chapter from my book, “Be Yourself”. Welp, I’m going to talk about that chapter in this Monday Motivation. Ya ready?

I’ve always felt that, we should stand up for who we are. No one else can. People will give themselves up for money, love, power, and more. We can’t do that. We gotta stop that.

But how?
