Tuesday Testimony: God Is Faithful

You will want to read this one.

From Testimony Share.

Mine is a very long story with a happy ending. Let me start by thanking God for always being faithful even when I was not. I want to share my story and hopefully it will help someone who is in a tough situation.

I came to USA from Kenya in 2007. Before then I was very scared to come here. I went to an Australian campus in Malaysia for my first year of college since I was not sure I could handle being in USA. Later when I left for my holiday, my parents convinced to pursue studies in USA or Australia.

I started the application process and told God the first response will be His will for me. I got accepted to MC, I took the I20 to embassy for visa application. I told God unless He is coming with me to the USA, I do not want a visa. Getting a US visa is a tough process for many with numerous attempts but for me at my first attempt I got the visa. Glory to God, I knew no matter what I face in a foreign country, in the city of New York where I knew no one, He will always be by side. That’s all I needed.

My journey started in August 25, 2007. I was pursuing a bachelor degree in chemical engineering. It was tough but I witnessed His faithfulness throughout. I will fast forward to where I received my master’s degree and got an internship with an appliance company. At the time I had a work visa that allowed me to work. The first one was for 1 year and then I had to extend it for another 18 months. Thank God for my wonderful employer who took it upon himself to make sure I stayed legal. He had to enroll in a program with DoL and file a lot of paperwork just keep me legal! The HR personnel had to undergo training and train annually thereafter… all to keep me legal! I thank God for the wonderful people He put in my life. I had angels to guide me along the way.

My 18 months were to expire on July, 2014 and I only had three choices to remain legal: go back to school, get married, or file for H1B Visa with my employer. Option 1 was very depressing since I owed so much in student loans and I really did not want to go back to school. The second option was even more depressing since I had to fake a marriage to remain legal and I was so resentful to the system for making things so hard. The third option was not really an option because it will involve lawyers, huge expenses, it was not guaranteed and I needed my employer on board. He had so much for me and I didn’t want to ask for more assistance.
I felt stuck and I finally decided I had to get off my high horse and do what most people do…get married.

Tuesday Testimony: New Home and New Job

I do not belong to any ministry or run any prayer tower, I am a working woman born and brought up in Christian Family.

(1) Last Year 2014 had been very blessed for us as we could purchase a new house it is a blessing from GOD as our monthly income is enough to run the months expenses so we cannot effort to buy a house, but by GOD’s GRACE we are able to purchase our own house and since last year we have been staying peacefully and blessed always in this home.

(2) The Company’s Management where I work presently had forcefully asked to resigned the permanent staff. I was totally prepared to accept the resign as I knew my boss for whom I as EA had resigned two months back and had left the company so I was EA without the boss.

But see the people who were senior to me and had been spending many years more than 28 years in this company had asked to resign from the job and I was asked/chosen to fill their vacancy. It was a great surprise for me as I have completed only 4 years in this company and that too I am very new to all this work.

Presently I am serving two bosses (1st half and 2nd half).

Now again I am ready to accept the decision/plan of Jesus in my life.

Please pray for me that I may grow spiritually in life along with my whole family.

Praise GOD FOREVER AND EVER.
AMEN.

Tuesday Testimony: Passed the Exams

I am here to testify to all of you here that I have PASSED my A level exams through the grace of great Lord Jesus when I thought I would fail. I had messed up in some parts of the paper and could not answer many of the questions … I was mortified and immediately prayed to Lord Jesus to save me and give me hope and prepare me for the best. When results day came and results were reveale, I PASSED all my subjects. I now qualify for some post graduate courses and I know the Lord is always watching and guiding my path. The Lord has destined for me to pass my exams and here I testify to you all the power of merciful Lord Jesus. Praise be to God forevermore and without him I would have strayed from the road to success . God is REAL and he will never leave or forsake you … PRAISE TO GOD

Changes to Wednesday Word and Thursday Thoughts

These are minor tweaks.

For Wednesday Word, I am officially making video length no more than 10 minutes. The original rule was no more than 20 minutes. Also, I am no longer adding my commentary. So, video and done,

For Thursday Thoughts, I’ll be adding an image of a quote, along with the typical three quotes.

What I’m aiming to do with DALANEL is to make this a quick stop destination. Each post here is short and sweet. Videos are no longer than 10 minutes. Just a few quotes to chew on; nothing overwhelming.

I try to get this stuff up in the morning so you can start your day off on a positive note. I really want to settle in these daily posts so I don’t anticipate too many changes besides these little tweaks.

Tuesday Testimony: Saved from a terrible accident

From Testimony Share:

I just want to share a testimony with everyone. God is alive. I was recently in a car accident, my car rolled over and flew over a fence and then landed on my side but stood back on its wheels immediately. I got out of that accident without a scratch. I saw the whole thing happen and I remember saying to God.

“God please protect me, take the wheel.”

I got out and looked at how badly damaged my car was, and I did not have a scratch, not even one. God is truly alive people. He lives within us, he is with us everyday, he protects us. I needed to share this miracle with you. God is Alive and he protected me. I should’ve been dead but because it was not Gods timing, I am alive and well. Praise God, he deserves the glory. Amen

DALANEL Continues to Fight for Good

DALANEL has always been a weapon of mine to counter the negativity of the world. I try to bring a positive spin to the world.

Currently, these are the ways I attack:

  • Monday Motivation
  • Tuesday Testimony
  • Wednesday Word
  • Thursday Thoughts
  • Fearless Friday

Each post provides a unique spin on things. I create Monday Motivations on my own. Testimonies, Thoughts, and Fearless are outsourced. Wednesday Word is a combination of the two.

I’ve spent years molding this blog and its features to carry this vision. I will continue to. The idea that I’m making an impact is a good one. 1,600 people can’t be wrong, right? That’s how many people follow this blog. Google+, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, WordPress, Email, and LinkedIn. Many people, many backgrounds. But, they can appreciate what is going on here.

I’m hardly the only site with the same purpose in mind. However, I’m pretty sure I’m the only guy doing it the way I am.

I recently read a story of a girl, with the help of her little sister, who killed their older brother. He locked her in a closet. Apparently, this is what the parents did to punish her. The parents had left, and big brother was in charge. His sister…I GUESS, needed to be disciplined and big bro did what he saw his parents do. Lock her up.
