Wednesday Word: Witnessing with love

Let me first say that this video has my tone of voice ALL OVER IT. This guy, Nate, was on point. Take a listen:

I mean, I ranted about this in my book. The end of the video was a little odd and leaves a mystery yet to be solved as that’s his last video to date.

I already talked about this in my book, like I said.

Nate said it. We should love people. Love the unsaved. That’s it. It really is. Jesus had to do the same thing. Everybody was unsaved and He loved all of us.

And if we are going to be Christ-like, it’s probably a good idea to show love. Don’t bash. Don’t speak down. Don’t attack.

And like he was saying with the heavy metal, yeah, I don’t think it’s a problem taking something evil and twisting it for God’s side. My opinion. Now, of course, you’re not gonna have a Christian strip club (but I’m not saying I wouldn’t be into that) but, just as God took situations that the devil meant to be bad as good, we can do that too.

One of my favorite examples is Joseph. The devil had a hand in getting Joe’s brothers to leave him for dead. But what did God do? He took that same situation and used it not only to bless Joseph, but to save Joe’s family too.

God is in control and will use what He wants. If He wants to use heavy metal to His advantage, then great. If He’s told people to do Christian heavy metal, who are we to judge?

Good job Nate.
